[Sypmtom of Infection]

1. INF.Autorun.88.E is located in root directory, and it executes nar.vbs by using wscript.exe on accessing drive.

2. USB virus by Autorun.inf can cause below symptoms.  
    - Unavailable to uncheck the property for "Hide File/Folder". 
    - On double clicking drive, execute malicious codes only and deny access. 
    - Copy & infect the malicious codes when USB or portable disk are inserted. 
    - Create itself with random file name into root directory.

[Detailed Information]

In case of existing INF.Autorun.88.E in each system connected drive's root directory, if the drive switches to accessible status, it executes files that configurated in Autorun.inf automatically. Usually it spreads itself out by shared folders with write property, USB, and other portable drives.  

[How to repair]

1. If you are WinXP/ME users, please be inactivate System Recovery Function.

The reason why being inactivate of the system recovery is to clean the virus completely.

2. Update the engine module for the latest one.

To repair this virus, you need to update the engine for the latest one.

a. ViRobot products users

3. How to scan the virus.

a. Run your ViRobot, and choose "all files" in scan option.

b. Repair all viruses detected.

c. If [Auto-repair after rebooting] message shows up, please try to re-scan after rebooting the PC.
